An inviting coffee blended in honor of St. Vincent de Paul. This inspiring French saint was born to a poor peasant family, educated by the Franciscans, and tutored the children of a wealthy family in order to afford to attend university, where he majored in Theology. Shortly after he was ordained a priest, he was abducted by Barbary priates and enslaved. Rather than run away, Vincent worked to convert the hearts of his master and his master's wife, eventually bringing his master back to the Catholic Faith and converting his wife. His master decided to return to France, where Vincent then fully dedicated himself to serving the poorest of the poor, the galley slaves, as he himself had been enslaved. He spent his life in the service of the poor and those in prison, preaching missions, providing relief, and establishing hospitals. He also established charitable foundations, the Vincentians institute of priests, and the Daughters of Charity. This flavor tribute to the Father of the Poor features a bright and enticing banana flavor with a hint of roasted nuts. It reminds us of banana bread, the simple and ever-popular comfort food and sign of hospitality. A symbolic and meaningful tribute to the humble Apostle of Charity, this is a comforting and delicious coffee for any Catholic coffee-lover and a distinctive gift for any occasion.
