If Amaretto were a cookie, it would be our Almerle. Borrowing beautiful images from our traditional Springerle, the Almerle is an edible work of art. Almerle cookies have the same unique texture of Springerle cookies — crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. We use almond oil in place of anise oil, for a different but equally delicious taste.
